Oakley’s second wall, the world’s second-tallest, is at a whopping 8,852 feet.
The climbing area is in the heart of the city’s downtown.
The wall, which opened last week, has the capacity to accommodate over 100 climbers, and is made of three sections that can accommodate around 300.
Each section is built to accommodate the needs of the climbers.
The first section is 6,500 feet long and weighs 1,400 tons.
The second section is 5,500 and weighs 2,000 tons.
Each section of the tower is equipped with a helipad, which can accommodate up to seven climbers.
A helipac is located in the second section of Oakley.
To climb to the top of the mountain, climbers first descend the steep incline to the summit of the first section.
After ascending the steep slope, the climbers climb the steep, narrow walkway down to the second floor.
The climb down to 6,000 feet is not for the faint of heart, as it takes climbers nearly an hour to descend to the bottom of the 6,100-foot tower.
In addition to the climbers who use the tower to climb, Oakley is home to many other climbing enthusiasts, including members of the climbing community.
“The climb to 8,800 feet is one of the most physically demanding of our time,” said Oakley Managing Director Mark Bovey.
“We will continue to strive to make this experience as fun and challenging as possible for the public.”
The climbing section of 6,400 feet is named the “Everest” in honor of the historic mountain in Alaska that became the highest point in the world in 1953.
